Concept of communicative tool

Communicative tool can be defined as an application, app, technology or as a tools which enable easy communication between the teacher and the student amongst student beyond the physical barrier either by learning space or time. Communicative tools can also be used to facilitate asynchronous discussion around ideas, the the completion of learning activities, building relationship and networking. In another word, it facilitates exchange of ideas, information, and data among learners. 

Communicative tools provide us with a wider platforms for communication by supporting us with varied modes such as text, voice, video, pictures and sharing of files allowing learners to use the most appropriate method of their need. These tools help streamline workflows, reduce errors and enhance productivity by enabling real time or asynchronous exchange of information.

Reflection or Write up on the communication tool

Having learned about communicative tools i am now aware of its importance to improve the develop communication skills. Learning about varies communicative tools can help us identify our areas for improvement and can also introduce us to the best method of our choice to achieve certain task. Communicative tools enhances interaction as it increases profitability by providing faster, efficient, quick and accurate messages to the learners with clarity and coherence. 

Integrating communicative tool in a classroom can inculcate collaborative skills and thinking skills. It makes easier for everyone to convey messages through Docs, slides, mails, blog and other methods for better teaching and learning through real-time or asynchronous space.

How to create google classroom as a communicative tool

  1. Sign in to Google

    Go to the Google website and sign in with your Google account. If you don't have one, you'll need to create one.
  2. Access Google Classroom Once you're signed in, navigate to Google Classroom. You can either search for it in the Google search bar or directly type in classroom.google.com.

  3. Set up your Classroom If this is your first time using Google Classroom, you'll be prompted to set it up. Click on the "+" sign in the top-right corner and select "Create class."

  4. Fill in the Details: You'll need to fill in some details about your class, such as the class name, section, subject, and room. You can also upload an image to represent your class.

  5. Invite Students: After setting up your class, you can invite students to join. You can either invite them directly via email or share a unique code that they can use to join the class.

  6. Customize Settings: You can customize various settings for your class, such as whether students can post and comment, whether to allow students to join without permission, and whether to allow guardians to receive email summaries about their child's progress.

  7. Start Posting: Once your class is set up and students have joined, you can start posting assignments, announcements, and other materials for your students.

  8. Manage Your Class: Throughout the course, you can manage your class by posting updates, grading assignments, giving feedback, and communicating with your students.
